Crook County Junkin’ Weekend
Annually the first weekend in June
Fuel up the truck, hook up the trailer and spend the weekend treasure hunting throughout Crook County. This popular community-wide shopping event features garage sales, antiques, vintage finds, handmade goods, food vendors and unique local shops across Sundance, Moorcroft, Hulett and surrounding communities.
Visitors can explore hundreds of sales and vendors while enjoying a fun road trip through northeast Wyoming.
Movies in the Park

Summer Thursdays | June through August
Bring a lawn chair and enjoy free family movies under the Wyoming sky at Sundance Square Park. Movies in the Park is one of Sundance’s favorite summer traditions featuring family films, local sponsors, concessions and community fun throughout the season.
The Frosty Cow and local nonprofits are often on-site with snacks, treats and activities before the movie begins.
Crook County Fair

Held annually in late July
The Crook County Fair is packed with family-friendly fun including livestock shows, rodeo events, food vendors, exhibits, live entertainment and activities for all ages. Burnout Wednesday

Held during Sturgis Rally Week in August
Burnout Wednesday brings motorcycles, live music, food vendors and high-energy excitement to downtown Sundance during rally season. The event features the famous motorcycle burnout competition on 3rd Street along with vendors, entertainment and a lively downtown atmosphere throughout the day.
